Who, what where when, why??? And obviously HOW???

The questions everyone wants answers to when it comes to diet and exercise. There are so many possibilities, theories, and options, yet it becomes so convoluted and overwhelming to even digest (pun intended 😉). So let’s break it down by the 5 Ws and the much desired H-O-W!

First – let’s make it pretty damn simple upfront by clearing out all the “bullshirt” (thank you Kristin Bell and the Good Place) and making it crystal clear! ANY diet (meaning to restrict) that is consistent and sustainable will ALWAYS succeed. This just means that with restriction on a continued basis you will lose weight. This is not taking into account long-term effects on the body, overall health, or even the quality of foods being eaten under restriction, just means you will lose if you restrict.

Ok, so moving on.

1. Who?

Who are we supposed to listen to? Who has the best solution? Who do I want to look like? You get the point… So, the answer is not the problem, the question is. You should be asking, who am I doing this for? Who am I and who do I want to become? Who do I see when I look in the mirror? Who made the decisions that got me where I don’t want to be? Who is responsible for making decisions in my life right now? (Bet you can surmise that all these questions have (or should have) the same answer – YOU). When you recognize you are in control, the limits disappear and you are empowered to reach success.

2. What?

What should I do? What diet will work? What is the easiest way? (Bet you have googled all of those already 🤦🏼‍♀️) Well, you are here, so the answer is most definitely Macro IQ – with intentional quantities you will get intentional results. 3. Where?

Where do I find the answers? Where do I start? First of all, you already have the answers, you just have to trust and employ them. So, obviously, you know eating that shirt is gonna kill ya, and driving through whatever’s on the corner because it’s easy is not good for you. It is no secret that just one more, or it’s a holiday, or well, it’s 5’oclock somewhere are all worthless excuses that are not going to give you what you want (alcohol, treats, happy hour appetizers…. Yep, all part of the scam and you know it). So, you got the answers, we just help you fine-tune them. As for where to start, pretty easy… RIGHT HERE! One meal at a time, one decision at a time, and one pound at a time.

4. When?

When do I eat? When do I work out? When do I start? When I do stop? When will this work? When will I see the results? What do you think my answer is gonna be, tick tick BOOM… RIGHT spanking NOW!!! It is time to start investing in you and the only body God gave you. Now is always the time and Never give up because you deserve it ALL the time, not just for a couple of days, weeks, or a month. You will consistently see the magic happen if you keep performing. If it is working, when would it ever be smart to go back to what wasn’t?

5. Why?

Why am I not seeing results? Why should I try this? Why macros? Why does this work?

Most of these answers require another blog, so stay tuned…Yet, for now, here is the short answer:

You are not seeing results because you are doing it wrong, end of story. You are cheating with your meals, you are lazy and don’t want to go to the gym, you are not consistent and you are not being intentional with everything you do. You should try this because it is easy, it works EVERY time, it has been researched six ways to Sunday, it spells out how many grams per macro you should eat everyday for your body type and your goals. Macros are not created equally and body types respond differently to each one, so it is not just about calories (more on this topic later). It works because it gives you what you need, how much you need, and it is sustainable.

6. How?

Lastly, HOW is the answer you have been waiting for. How do you start? How do you do it? How does it work? So, it is pretty simple. You plug some numbers into the calculator we have created and BAM – you get your Macro IQ. This number indicates your total daily calories needed, but beyond that, it breaks the calories down into macros to determine what to eat. Each gram you eat per day will be accounted for intentionally. It will tell you how many grams of fat, carbs, and protein to eat in order to reach the calories you should be eating for your body type and the composition of it at this point. Ok, great, you have these numbers… Well, duh, NOW it is time to buy a scale and weigh your food, don’t run away, I promise you, this is the best part. You will immediately see the craziness of portions and serving sizes, and you will be floored by how much more you are eating every day and will want to STOP instantly. Do EVERYTHING in grams… I’m telling you the rest is meant to confuse you. Pretty sure 14 chips vs. 28 grams do NOT mean the largest chips in the bag… BIG difference, so don’t be fooled.
